Etherwing Moth is one of the new local specialties in Genshin Impact Mondstadt, released in version Luna VI. In the current version, the character that will be using the Pine Amber is Linnea, the new 5-star Geo character in the game. In addition, there may be more characters who need this local specialty as their ascension materials, so collecting them now would be wise!
Etherwing Moth can be found in Windrest Peak and Temple of Space. This guide will help you collect all the Etherwing Moth in Genshin Impact Mondstadt, not including the one that can be obtained from any shops or NPCs. Don’t forget that you can also enter another Traveler’s World and collect this local specialty too (with their permission, of course)! A total of 80 Etherwing Moth can be obtained in Mondstadt within a few minutes!

Etherwing Moth Easy Farming Route in Genshin Impact Nod-Krai
Windrest Peak (29 EtherWing Moth)
The first location can be seen in Miller’s Haven, Windrest Peak. Teleport to the waypoint in Miller’s Haven, and look to the east for the first Etherwing Moth. Continue following the flowerbed to the southeast for the next Etherwing Moth. There are 8 Etherwing Moth in this spot.
Next, teleport to the same waypoint again in Miller’s Haven, and this time, head north. There are 5 Etherwing Moth, all of them also near the flowerbed.
The second spot is in southwest of Dornman Port. Teleport to the Statue of the Seven in Windrest Peak, and once you arrive, turn around to see 3 Etherwing Moth. Then, from the previous spot, head north until you reach a small house with Herne in the front side. On his small flowerbed, there will be another 2 Etherwing Moth.
The third location to gather Etherwing Moth is in Old Sanatorium Site. Teleport to said location using the nearby waypoint, and head southwest to find the first 4 Etherwing Moth. They should be near purple flowers.
From the previous spot, head further southwest to find another 4 Etherwing Moth. The first 2 is nearby blue flowers, while the remaining 2 can be found on the lower part of this area (jump down) where you can see green flowers.
Next, teleport to the waypoint on a small island south of the Old Sanatorium Site, and you can get 3 Etherwing Moth right in front of you. That’s all the Etherwing Moth you can collect in the open-world in Windrest Peak.
Temple of Space (51 EtherWing Moth)
The next farming location takes place in Temple of Space. This area will be locked until you start The Wind Has Ceased quest that can be started in Dornman Port. The quest will bring you to the Temple of Space, where many more quests will be unlocked for you there.
After you’re done with the quest, let’s continue with the farming. First, teleport to Pillar Hall Central Zone south waypoint (under the word ‘Hall’ of Pillar Hall Central Zone) for the first 5 Etherwing Moth. Three of them will be right behind you after teleporting, while remaining two will be on the other side of where you’re currently at.
Now, teleport to Temple of Space: Memory Core waypoint, leave the area by going northeast a little bit, and once you leave the door, you will find the first 2 Etherwing Moth. Then, continue going to the west for the next 5 Etherwing Moth.
Teleport again to the same waypoint as before, and this time head south before heading east. Climb the cubic platforms on the east until you reach the top for 3 Etherwing Moth that are close to each other.
Then, you can teleport to Pillar Hall Central Zone north waypoint to get a total of 8 Etherwing Moth. The first 5 can be seen north of the waypoint, while the last 3 is located on the south of the waypoint, far lower platform (jump off the area and glide dlowly to reach the lower platform).
Teleport again to the same waypoint as before, and head northwest and jump to the most lower level for another 3 Etherwing Moth. You can see it near the glowing display case.
Now, teleport to Pillar Hall Central Zone south waypoint (the island directly below the Pillar Hall Central Zone), and you can see 3 Etherwing Moth behind you. Afterward, pull the platform using Dex so you can reach the other side to get another 2 Etherwing Moth. From the previous spot, continue heading east using the same mechanism to get the remaining 3 Etherwing Moth.
Teleport to Pillar Hall Central Zone southeast waypoint, go downstairs on your left, and you will get antoher 5 Etherwing Moth.
We’re finally finished with Pillar Hall Central Zone, so we can now go to Mahavaipulya Chamber. Head to Mahavaipulya Chamber northeast waypoint, and you will find 4 Etherwing Moth around the waypoint. From the previous spot, head north to the small island for another 3 Etherwing Moth.
Teleport to the previous waypoint one last time, and head southwest for the last 5 Etherwing Moth. That’s all!
