Travelers should know about the Valiant Chronicles in Genshin Impact as it was first released in Nod-Krai with all of its Local Legends. But now in Version Luna VI, the enemies that were jotted down in the Valiant Chronicles will now be expanding to Local Legends outside of Nod-Krai, specifically in Mondstadt.
Two new Local Legends will be added to the game, and they will also be included in the Valiant Chronicles in Luna VI. This guide will help you find both of them, their requirements, and the locations in Genshin Impact.
Churldric

The first Local Legend is called Churldric, and you can find it northwest of Stormbearer Mountains. Teleport to Cider Lake north waypoint, and head northeast towards the huge Hilichurls camp. You can see a circle platform on the map, it’s the same one just like at the north of Dadaupa Gorge. Once you get near the platform, you can immediately start the battle against Churldric, he is not locked behind any quest.

Here are the achievements that can be obtained from Churldric:
1. Defeat Local Legend: Churldric.
2. Deal damage to the Delicious Hot Pot summoned by Churldric and defeat it.
3. Defeat Churldric before he can finish cooking with the Delicious Hot Pot.
Defeat Local Legend: Churldric
Here are some tips against the Local Legend Churldric:
– Churldric summons a pot that has a Geo shield, and if you did not interrupt him within 10 seconds, it will complete the cooking inside the pot and will gain a buff. You can interrupt it by breaking the pot or put out the fire.
– The best way to destroy the pot is by using Claymore and Geo attacks. By breaking the pot before the gauge fills up, it will deal Physical DMG and stun Churldric.
– While if you simply prevent the gauge bar to be fully filled by using other elements (Hydro/Electro/Cryo/Anemo) to put out the fire, it will only make Chuldric to not receive the buff, but will not deal any damage to Chuldric (like when you destroy the pot). Note that the Pyro attacks from the floor will ignite the pot if it hits.
– If Chuldric has an angry anime-style on its forehead and continue with triple plunging attacks, that mean you stopped the pot’s gauge from completely filled, but does not destroy the pot.
Defeat Churldric before he can finish cooking with the Delicious Hot Pot

This one is pretty straightforward. Once Churldric summons the hot pot with a Geo shield, there will be a gauge bar below Churldric’s HP bar. You need to prevent the gauge bar to be fully filled each time the pot is summoned, and defeat Churldric to get this achievement.
There are 2 options to do this: either (1) put out the fire with elemental reaction or (2) completely destroy the pot.

Without any interruption, the gauge will be filled in 10 seconds. For the first option, you can use Hydro, Electro, Cryo, Anemo attacks on the pot to put out the fire (you know, elemental reaction?). When the fire is gone, Churldric could not continue cooking and the gauge will not be increased. However, beware that there will be Pyro attacks from the floor and it will ignite the pot back if the fire hits the pot.

While for the second option, you can destroy the hot pot. The best way to destroy the hot pot will be using a Geo or Claymore attack (especially both). If you manage to destroy the pot before the gauge is filled, the pot will explode and deal Physical DMG on the Local Legend and stunning it for a few seconds.
Churldric will summon the hot pot multiple times in battle (if you didn’t defeat it quickly). Make sure to prevent it from finish the cooking every time it summons the hot pot.
Deal damage to the Delicious Hot Pot summoned by Churldric and defeat it

This achievement is also related to the hot pot. As mentioned before, destroying the pot will deal damage to Churldric. For this achievement, you need to use that damage to deal the finishing blow to the Local Legend. Thus, what you need to do is lower Churldric’s HP until it reaches ~10% HP then wait until it summons a hot pot. Finally, destroy the hot pot so it will deal the finishing blow to the Local Legend and you will get the achievement.
Note that Churldric will still receives damage when the pot is on the field, so try not to attack him and focus on the pot just in case Churldric died first before the pot is destroyed.

“Maha Vasudevayavaputra”

The second Local Legend is “Maha Vasudevayavaputra”, and it is located in Desert Pavilion, an area in Temple of Space. Now, Temple of Space is locked behind a quest called ‘The Wind Has Ceased’, so you have to start this quest first before it will lead you to Temple of Space. You can start ‘The Wind Has Ceased’ in Dornman Port.
Once you’re there, it’s recommended to complete the whole quest as each major area are not fully expanded, and you need to complete the quest on each area to make the map complete.

After completing the related quest, you can go to Desert Pavilion waypoint (one right underneath its name), and head northwest towards the top left of the Desert Pavilion to find a Geo Mushroom and an NPC called Mardava. Talk to Mardava and choose the option to battle the mushroom enemy.

Here are the achievements that can be obtained from “Maha Vasudevayavaputra”:
1. Defeat Local Legend: “Maha Vasudevayavaputra”.
2. Defeat “Maha Vasudevayavaputra” after forcing him to revert to his normal state at least once.
3. After “Maha Vasudevayavaputra” reverts back to his normal state for the first time, defeat him before he goes into Scorced state.
Defeat Local Legend: “Maha Vasudevayavaputra”
Here are some tips against Local Legend “Maha Vasudevayavaputra”:
– This enemy bounces around a lot, so try not to bring too many characters with many circle impact (those with Ultimate or Skill that stays in one place and has small AoE).
– “Maha Vasudevayavaputra” has a Dendro gauge, and you need to fill it up by either applying Dendro or dealing Dendro DMG to force the Local Legend to revert from the Scorched state and stay in Normal state.
Defeat “Maha Vasudevayavaputra” after forcing him to revert to his normal state at least once

There are 2 states of “Maha Vasudevayavaputra”: Normal and Scorched. Once you enter the battle, “Maha Vasudevayavaputra” will immediately enters the Scorched state without you needing to use Pyro on them (like other normal fungi enemies). There will be a Dendro gauge bar under its HP bar.

You need to bring a Dendro character to fill the gauge bar and force “Maha Vasudevayavaputra” to revert to its Normal state. Do this at least once in the battle, and defeat it afterwards to get this achievement.
After “Maha Vasudevayavaputra” reverts back to his normal state for the first time, defeat him before he goes into Scorched state
This is more of a team check because “Maha Vasudevayavaputra” will enter Scorched state if the Dendro gauge bar is not filled. As mentioned before, “Maha Vasudevayavaputra” will immediately enter Scorched state for the first time once you enter the battle. And after you force it to revert to the Normal state by filling the Dendro bar, you need to defeat it immediately before it can enter the Scorched state for the second time.

There are 3 methods that will make “Maha Vasudevayavaputra” enter the Scorched state:
1) If you use Pyro attack on it, it will immediately enter the Scorched state
2) If you use Electro attack multiple times on it, it will be bigger and go berserk for some time, and then enter the Scorched state
3) When the Dendro gauge bar is empty, it will enter the Scorched state
In other words, you need to bring a team with Dendro DPS, avoid bringing a Pyro or Electro characters, and make sure the Dendro gauge bar is always filled to get this achievement.
